Meet Marielle, an accomplished legal professional admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2021. With a strong academic foundation, Marielle holds both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She further solidified her legal skills by earning a Graduate Diploma in Practical Legal Training and achieving admission as a Duty lawyer.

Marielle's passion lies in the realm of international law and human rights. Her dedication to these areas led her to undertake studies in Geneva, Switzerland, where she delved into the intricacies of global mechanisms for safeguarding human rights. Marielle's commitment to understanding these mechanisms was further reinforced by her participation in a session at the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross. In 2019, she gained invaluable experience through a work program at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
