Andrew was admitted as a solicitor in the United Kingdom in 1997 and was an Associate at a Chambers 500 directory firm of solicitors. Andrew initially specialized in Criminal Defence and general civil litigation until he was invited to take over the Employment Department in conjunction with his other areas of practice. He was then invited to take up a post with the UK Public Defender Service and was Head of two offices in South Wales. The Public Defender Office is a Criminal Law Defence Service specializing in serious crime and criminal representation. Andrew remains admitted in the United Kingdom.
Since his admission in Australia he has worked in Redcliffe and more generally the Brisbane area. He is an admitted Duty Lawyer and has extensive Criminal experience in Magistrates Court advocacy and also in conducting more serious cases including fraud, sexual offences, assaults and other serious crime in the District and Supreme Court of Queensland.
Andrew believes strongly in defending the rights of the individual.
